An article from healthimaging.com reports that ~90% of radiology residents questioned said that selection committees favored MDs over DOs. What is your take on this? Could it be that MDs generally have more education or "creds" under their name such as research to justify this? I mean they all took the same tests, boards, learned the same physiology/anatomy and it can be argued that the DO doctors learned more about the muscles/bones/fascia than the MDs...so what gives? Maybe the majority of DOs tested lower and thus don't meet certain criteria??
